Hotspots

SBCC no longer provides hotspots for students or employees.

Print Books

Stop by to borrow print books from the Library's regular collection (not textbooks), or see the instructions for Requesting a Book in OneSearch to place a book on hold.

Borrowing Textbooks

Print textbooks may be borrowed for 3 hours at a time when the library is open. For temporary online access to textbooks, follow the instructions on our Textbooks and Course Reserves page.

Books By Mail for Out-of-Area Online Students

We will mail books other than textbooks to SBCC online students who do not live in the immediate Santa Barbara area. Please email circulation@sbcc.edu to make your request. Be sure to include your SBCC student ID number and your mailing address.

Where

Picking Up Library Materials

Visit the Luria Library in person to borrow physical items.

Returning Library Materials

Chromebooks, calculators, chargers, and any other technology must be returned in person to the Library.

Books may be placed in any of the book drops on campus. Book drops are located near the kiosks at the East and West Campus entrances, and outside the front entrance of the library. Only books may be placed in book drops.
